With Disneyworld and Universal at its center, Orlando is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the United States. For many, Orlando is the ideal location for family trips, group gatherings, and enjoying the nightlife. But there’s more to Orlando than just theme parks! There’s shopping, museums, and miles of land to enjoy Central Florida’s natural wildlife. Frogs, snakes, alligators, armadillos and manatees make up just a few of the creatures Orlando residents share their city with!

One might not expect veganism in Florida to compete with the popularity of plant-based food in states like California and New York. But you’d be surprised! Orlando consistently ranks one of the most vegan-friendly cities in the nation. So if you’re tired of having fried food and snow cones at the theme parks, and you’re in search of the best vegan food in Central Florida, check out our Orlando vegan guide. You won’t be disappointed at the sheer volume of vegan options Orlando, Florida has to offer!

Leguminati

Cuisine: Comfort food, Cafe

Website: http://www.bean-team.com

Located in Orlando’s Hourglass District. Leguminati is a 100% vegan spot that solely serves vegan crunch wraps, a large flour tortilla filled with vegan protein, vegetables, and toppings, all wrapped and toasted. When a restaurant specializes in one menu item and one menu item only, you know that they have it down to a science. This is true at Leguminati. With eight different wraps to choose from, any choice is a great one. We recommend the buffalo brunch, breaded vegan chick’n doused in house-made buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomato, and vegan ranch nestled in a carefully wrapped flour tortilla.

Market on South is a quaint cafe off of South Street in Orlando’s Milk District. Here, you can find refrigerated vegan food, treats, and coffee. Vegan southern comfort food is on the menu at Dharma, with dishes like fried green tomato melt, pulled bbq jackfruit sandwiches, and mac and cheese. Our absolute favorite item on the menu is the Dharma chopped salad, a mix of baby kale, romaine, and cabbage topped with charred corn, cucumber, beets, pretzel croutons, and a homemade dressing. Valhalla Bakery specializes in vegan desserts like cookies, customizable cakes, cupcakes, and more.
